I do my main audio podcast once a week and a vidcast version about twice a month. I find that having a set schedule for when your podcast comes out helps to get listeners into a groove of listening on a regular basis. Like a TV show, they can come to count on that half hour of entertainment each Monday, for instance. If you aren't working with a podcast delivery network, like I am with PodShow, then its a good idea to use FeedBurner to keep track of your subscriber stats: http://www.feedburner.com Hope this helps! Hi there, I'm brand new here, but increasing audience is a challenge for me too. I LOVE the video idea! When I have more time I'm definitely going to do that. Some people also swear by social networks, and they are good, but also listing your podcast everywhere you can... and asking your listeners to write you a good review on iTunes, etc., helps. If you want, I can review your podcast for you too. Anyone who wants to, I will review it. THat helps promote podcasters! The review podcast is my secondary podcast. My first one is political. My secondary one is: http://www.podcastliberally.com It's main (and really only) purpose is to promote other podcasts. --Shelly

I am a female minister, writer and egalitarian. Because of my message, I been censored by the religious system in my area so I been using internet blogradios, as a need way to express my mind, create awarreness about religiouse oppression towards female mnister. I am also a Clinical Counselor have been using podcat as a way to share a healing message with survivors of abuse. Now I am experimenting with home made videos. I really feel empower as I have recovered my voice. I am planning on continue expanding and learning.

Setting goals in every area is so important! We are usually good at setting business goals but not so good and setting goals for family time or self care!
